Connect Benji Pays so a client’s contact can set up autopay from their portal. They save a bank account or card on a secure payment page. Your portal calls it your billing portal and never names Benji Pays. No card or bank number reaches Debut. Owners and admins connect it on the Practice and Firm plans.

Benji Pays needs an accounting system connected. Without one it has no customers to link.

Debut tries the key first. Nothing is saved until Benji Pays accepts it.

If the customer is not found, add it in your accounting system first. It then appears in Benji Pays.

The client’s project contact and any billing contact see Set up autopay on their portal home. To mark a billing contact, tick This is the client’s billing contact when you add the person on the People tab. For someone already there, open Edit and tick The client’s billing contact.

The button opens a secure payment page. The portal calls it your billing portal and never names Benji Pays. Payment details are entered there, never in Debut.

The Benji Pays card shows where each client is. It says who autopay is waiting for, or that Autopay is set up and when. Debut asks Benji Pays about waiting autopay every few minutes, and when the client or your team opens it.

To send the link yourself, choose Get the autopay link and copy it from the card. It opens the same secure page as the portal button.
