Set your password and authenticator

Use your set-up link to choose a password and connect an authenticator app.

Every Debut account has a password and an authenticator app. You set both from the link in your email, the first time you sign in.

Before you start

Have an authenticator app on your phone. Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, 1Password and Authy all work.

Set your password

  1. Open the link in your email.

  2. Type a new password in New password and again in Confirm password.

  3. Choose Continue.

  1. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.

  2. Type the Six-digit code your app shows.

  3. Choose Finish.

You are signed in and land on the desk.

Can’t scan the code?

Choose Can’t scan the code? under the QR code. Copy the key it shows into your app by hand. On a phone, Open in an authenticator app adds it for you.

“That code was not correct”

Codes change every 30 seconds. Type the code your app shows now, not one from earlier.

Tip: check that your phone’s clock is set automatically. A clock that is a few minutes off makes every code wrong.

“This link is no longer valid”

The link was used already, or it expired. Invitation links work for three days. Choose Send me a new link, or ask whoever invited you to resend it.
