Each week you can send the client a letter about what happened. It is built from the work recorded that week, and nobody at the client sees it until someone approves it.
Open this week’s letter
On the client’s page, select the dark button at the top, such as Send week-two letter. Week one starts on the kickoff day. Before the kickoff, the button reads Send before-kickoff letter.
Write the letter
Draft this week’s letter has AI write it from the week’s recorded events. Drafting comes with Practice and Firm.
Write it yourself opens an empty letter. This works on every plan.
If nothing was recorded since the last letter, there is nothing to draft from. Write it yourself if you have news.
Change the headline and the words as you like.
Built from the record lists the events the letter cites. These cannot be edited.
Still to do their onboarding lists everyone not yet onboarded. It goes with the letter as it stands when approved.
Redraft · one more model call writes a new draft in place of this one.
Approve and send
Select Approve and publish to the portal. The letter is on the client’s portal at once.
Owners and admins can always approve. Anyone else needs the Approve letters to clients grant. An owner or admin gives it on the member’s page in Settings › Team, under Grants.
There is one letter per week. An approved letter cannot be changed, so read it through first.
What the client receives
The letter on the project contact’s portal home, under Read the letter.
An email to the project contact with the headline and a Read the letter button. It lists up to ten people still to do their onboarding.
The link in the email is personal and works for fifteen minutes. The portal keeps every letter.
Past letters are listed on the letter page under Past letters.
