You can move between Practice and Firm at any time. Moving to Free is done by cancelling.
Switch between Practice and Firm
Open Settings and choose the Billing tab.
In Current plan, select Change plan.
In the pop-up, select Switch to Firm or Switch to Practice.
You see “Plan changed.” The new plan takes effect right away. Your seats carry over to it.
How the change is billed
A plan change is prorated. The difference shows on your next invoice.
During a trial there is nothing to prorate. You keep everything in Firm until the trial ends. Then the plan you switched to begins.
Switch to Free
The Free plan in the pop-up has a Switch to Free button. It opens the cancel question. Your paid plan runs to the end of the period, then the workspace moves to Free.
Switch to Free does not appear once a cancellation is already booked.
If you have no plan yet
Change plan appears once you have a subscription. On Free with no subscription, the plans are shown on the Billing tab itself. Choose one there to add your card on Stripe’s page.
Only the workspace owner can change the plan.
